Citroën, with its ELO, reminds us that user needs are evolving. This concept presents itself as an antidote to traditional cars, offering a living space that is both creative and functional.

With ELO, discover all the automotive news, Citroën aims to open “a new chapter,” as stated by Xavier Chardon, the brand’s director. This vehicle is designed to be “bold, accessible, and responsible.” The ambition is clear: to make the minivan an appealing choice for a new generation.

A clever design for six people

Measuring 4.10 m long and 1.70 m high, the ELO is only 9 cm longer than the city car C3. Yet, this small size conceals a modular space capable of accommodating up to six people. The designers have ingeniously thought of a spacious cabin that makes no compromises on comfort.

In its classic configuration, the minivan offers four seats with a central driver’s seat that can turn to face the rear passengers. The latter benefit from generous space, while two removable seats allow for even more people. Imagine an impromptu picnic where everyone is comfortably seated — that’s exactly what ELO promises.

A concept focused on well-being

The cherry on top? The ELO can transform into a true relaxation space. With a layout that allows the cabin to convert into a sleeping position, it even offers a sleeping area for two people. Two mattresses provided by Decathlon can be easily set up thanks to an integrated inflation system. Practical for a night under the stars or a nap after a long day of driving!

But that’s not all: the ELO can also metamorphose into a mobile office, perfect for remote workers. A dedicated tablet allows for placing a computer, while a retractable screen unfolds for watching a movie or making a video call. It’s like having your home office on wheels — ideal for those juggling between work and leisure.

Technology serving habitability

On the technical side, Citroën focuses on a flat floor and an electric platform that optimizes interior space. The electric motor, located on the rear axle, contributes to this feeling of space. With an advanced driving position, the driver enjoys incredible visibility, almost 180°. The steering column is also optimized for optimal ergonomics, reminiscent of some iconic older models from the brand.

The instrumentation is designed to simplify driving: all information is projected onto a dedicated surface of the windshield, providing a clear view without distractions. In terms of style, the ELO adopts the lighting signature of the C5 Aircross at the front, giving it a decidedly modern and dynamic look.

The official presentation of the ELO is scheduled for the next Brussels Motor Show, from January 10 to 18, 2026.
