Modellista’s Upgrade Kit Unveiled
The new Lexus ES has received a sporty makeover, courtesy of Modellista, who showcased an upgrade kit at the Tokyo Auto Salon. This kit aims to add a bit of visual flair to the sedan, which has recently shifted towards a more conservative design direction.

Subtle Enhancements

- Modellista introduced a new body kit for the ES.
- Front and rear bumper accents are now more pronounced.
- Side skirts come equipped with customizable LED light strips in various colors.
Design Features
The ES’s redesign features sharper lines compared to its predecessor, moving away from the sweeping curves that defined previous models. The updates from Modellista include:

- A body-colored splitter at the front.
- Extended side skirts that enhance the overall aesthetic.
- New satin black wing mirror caps.
Wheels and Rear Modifications
On the sides, the ES sports new 21-inch forged aluminum wheels with a spiraling spoke design, providing a significant upgrade over last year’s standard options. Additionally, a body-colored diffuser has been added to the rear bumper, giving it a more cohesive look.

Future F Sport Version?
While the previous ES was available in an F Sport variant, there is currently no word on whether Lexus will offer an F Sport version of the new model. However, renderings by design firm Theottle suggest that such an option could enhance the ES’s appeal.

Pricing and Availability
The prototype seen in Tokyo does not yet have an announced price for the final production components, and it remains unclear if these upgrades will be available outside of Japan.
